Najad 395 CC

Najad 395 CC

A true Mini Superyacht

We are very proud at Najad to introduce the all new Najad 395 Centre Cockpit (CC). There has never been a better sailing yacht under 40 feet than the Najad 395 range. The focus when developing the boat has been on safety, sailing performance, comfort, long distance cruising and luxury.

The CC model is characterized by a very well protected large center cockpit located close to the center of gravity. The yacht is especially designed for long distance blue water cruising. Because of its central positioning the helmsman is close to all important things such as winches, sailing gear, navigation station etc. Since the cockpit is far away from the sea it is very safe in bad weather and it is easy to control the boat from the central positioning. Aft of the cockpit is a large sun bathing deck. The wide bathing platform is easily maneuvered from the cockpit and is perfect for water sport activities.

The yacht is available in two or three cabin layouts with one or two large heads. The total number of layouts and combinations are unprecedented in the class. As on all NAJAD: s craftmanship and woodwork is second to none. The option list is very comprehensive and includes all equipment necessary to tailor the yacht to any individual needs. The colors, fabrics, canvas etc. can be matched in many different styles and colors to build a unique interior.

Designed in a unique collaboration of the leading companies within the industry

Najad 395 CC is designed in a joint venture between NAJAD – World’s leading yacht builder under 60 feet, FARR Yacht Design – The top racing-yacht design team in the world and Ken Freivokh Design – Superyacht stylist, architects, and interior designers with the world’s most impressive reference list.

A collaboration that has proven to be very successful. FARR Yacht Design and Ken Freivokh Design innovative and vast experience in design and construction together with Najad’s experience in quality and craftsmanship has led to this true Mini Superyacht. The yacht is simply built to last a lifetime of hard sailing in difficult conditions and still have its value left.

“Our goal at Farr Yacht Design with the new Najad 395 was to look back at Najad’s history, as well as forward to their future, and to create two new 12m models that would help take important steps forward while remaining true Najads. The brand Najad has so much great heritage, that our steps as thoughtful designers had to be very carefully considered. The 395 that we have created together is an artful blend of performance improvements and industrialization, with traditional values, sea worthiness, and good solid engineering. Both versions of the boat, center cockpit and aft cockpit, have been developed with the attention deserving of single focus models, and yet have achieved a level of industrialized integration which is a real testament to the team. We are confident that we have created new Najad 395’s that can stand the test of time, and be rewarding, and confidence inspiring yachts for her owners well into the future.”

Patrick Shaughnessy President, Farr Yacht Design

“The team at Ken Freivokh Design were delighted to tackle the challenge of creating unique interiors for both aft-cockpit and centre-cockpit version of the Najad 395, conceived from day one to offer maximum flexibility and choice. Such customer choice is almost unheard of on production sailing yachts, and showcases Najad’s intention to offer their customers a solution which most closely match their needs and preferences. The very fact that such options have been carefully considered from inception of the project ensures that they have been properly allowed for and implemented. Such options range from full three cabin, two shower room layouts to comfortable two cabins with ample room for storage, utility and toys, so all permutations to ensure that the owner’s intended use is fully catered for. The broad range of choices extends to the offered materials and colour choices, including a variety of woods, upholstery materials and colours and a range of finishes which should ensure that prospective owners end up with exactly the boat of their choice.”

We design the yacht around you

Since 1971 we have proudly built yachts that are tailored to each and every owners’ needs and preferences. N395 AC is a true Mini Superyacht in all aspects including build standards, design features, luxurious interior, sailing performance, technical installations, option lists, premium materials, look & feel and top of the line equipment. It offers the same broad equipment list as for a yacht five times the size.

N395 CC has a well-designed interior layout arrangement with essentially two large double cabins, a super cabin in the fore and an aft suite, each having its own large bed and separate bathroom and shower. Perfect in fact for owners who sail with another couple, from time to time, or for smaller sized families. The choice of a third cabin will prove popular for larger families or for those who like to sail with as many guests as possible.

For long distance cruisers, the third cabin may function as a single ‘off-watch’ berth positioned with easy access through the companionway. The truly handsome saloon and galley offers a great living area with lots of natural light coming from the many skylights and portlights. Other options in the interior layout includes additional or larger shower room, armchairs in the saloon, additional wardrobes and a walk-in closet to name a selected few.

Throughout the interior you’ll find quality craftsmanship, executed with extreme attention to detail. A classically designed mahogany interior with the contrasting finish/color on selected details such as lining on hull and in the ceiling and  design features on companionway and saloon table.
