Najad was founded in 1971 in Henån, on the island of Orust – the same island that produces more sailing yachts per square kilometer than anywhere else in the world. From the beginning, the goal was simple: to build the finest bluewater cruising yacht in Sweden.

More than 50 years later, that goal has not changed. Every Najad is still built by hand in Henån, by craftsmen who take pride in every detail. The joinery, the laminate schedule, the rigging layout — nothing is left to chance.

Najad yachts have circumnavigated the globe, crossed the Atlantic more times than we can count, and found their way into the most demanding harbors in the world. They come back. They always come back.
