The Najad 395 Aft Cockpit will be available to step on board at the Ocean Village Boat Show, 11-20th September with some superb new updates to this popular model.
The Najad 395AC is part of the Najad 395 range, designed in a joint venture between Najad, the world-renowned Farr Yacht Design and Ken Freivokh Design, the Superyacht stylist, architect, and interior designer. The design focus, as always, is on safety, sailing performance, comfort, long-distance cruising and luxury.
Nicolas Broberg, CEO of Najad Yachts said, “The Najad 395AC is fantastic for bluewater sailing. Every detail has been enhanced to ensure the best experience whether you’re cruising for the weekend around the Swedish archipelago or sailing the ARC (Atlantic Rally for Cruisers).”
Nicolas continues, “We have updated the deck layout and added a new optimised Targa top for maximum comfort, design and cruising performance. There is a unique new designed sprayhood, sprayhood extension, bimini and cockpit cover. We have also optimised the winch layout and installed a steering gear system. The sail plan has been upgraded. Deck storage including sail storage on the foredeck and an upgraded anchor locker are now featured. From stowage to luxurious comfort and push-button sailing, this yacht has it all and we’re delighted to see the positive reaction from our clients so far about the evolution of this model.”
This yacht replicates a mini Superyacht in all aspects from build standards and technical installations to design features, premium materials and top of the range equipment. The Najad philosophy is to design a world-class luxury yacht to withstand the elements for a lifetime.
The deck layout on N395AC is clean and uncluttered with under deck mounted electric windlass, flush-mounted deck hatches and skylights. The large lockers, one drained in bow, one in the cockpit floor and two on aft deck provide generous storage for sails and deck equipment.
The generous wide and lengthy Caribbean style cockpit with twin helm stations provide plenty of space for any manoeuvre. The cockpit is well protected and safe which makes it a very sociable place to entertain family and friends either under way or when mooring in a nice, quiet bay. The broad stern with the large foldable bathing platform, easily operated from the cockpit, is perfect for watersport activities.
The total number of layouts and combinations on the Najad 395 series are unprecedented in a 40-foot yacht. N395 AC is available in two or three cabin formats with the option of one or two large heads.
The forward owners’ cabin, with its comfortable full queen size double berth, lavish design details, natural light from the large skylight and glass panels creates a spacious and bright atmosphere, with its own walk-in wardrobe. Optional layouts in front of the mast include additional heads or separate shower room with just a shower to port and a seating option to starboard.
The V berth is standard in the forward cabin however a single berth option is available.
The standard layout has two aft cabins with long wide beds and large wardrobes for excellent stowage. Those wanting more space instead of berths have two options, to change the starboard aft cabin into an additional stowage area with shelves and compartments or to have a proper forward-facing navigation station with a seat.
The heads and shower rooms on the N395AC follow the Najad standard with good ventilation, large Corian worktops, roomy showers and ample storage in lockers and cabinets – all made from high-quality materials.
The Najad 395AC has been upgraded to include more interior storage in the saloon and improved storage in galley. Design improvements have been made to the blinds and saloon table and there is more storage in the NAV desk with drawers. The electrical and navigational systems have also been upgraded.
